OMG LIDDELL IS BACK!!!!!!!!

Check it out!!!! Here at the UFC Official Website

LIDDELL IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew that he visited Hawai'i and stated that he may be fighting in February or March, and when that didn't happen I was a little disappointed but Holy Christ!! Versus SHOGUN?! What a comeback match! To be honest, this is the biggest bout for me, even more so than Silva's bout with Leites. Will the ICEMAN bring the ice age back? I can't wait to see it! Only 14 more days.............................

Oh, and I hope Dennis Kang does well this time, his performance recently has NOT lived up to his fame in previous years.

As for Cheik Congo....He'll probably win, not so worried about that guy. I just expect a great fight.

Hooray UFC 97!

Dream 7 - What a disappointment!

I'm not even going to bother saying who fought who. It's just not worth my time to mention it. I'm just going to say this though: FEG.....seriously. Either do a better job, or forget about the mma scene and at least to a half-ass job of promoting K-1, because right now you suck at both.

Parisyan on drugs?!

Wow....and guess what? It was all PAIN KILLERS!!! It sounds counter intuitive, since the drugs he took have drowsiness as a side effect, but I guess it gives you an upper hand when the other guy is trying to HURT you, meaning INFLICT PAIN.

Already, many fans are requesting the Kim vs Parisyan result be changed to "No Contest", and I agree. It was already another judging criteria problem that is a chronic problem with the UFC in my opinion, and this is just icing on the cake.

Go Kim!

Yoshida Yoshiyuki Clips

Speaking of Yoshida, here is my favorite clip... In truth, I'd like to show you his UFC debut fight but Zuffa is VERY efficient at keeping their fights off of YouTube. Sorry folks!

In this fight against Kikuchi Akira, pay special attention to the last minute and a half or so...If it was the UFC the ref would stopped it long before this ref did.

Brutal, isn't it.

Brandon Wolf vs Yoshida Yoshiyuki!!

Wow! Check it out! Another Hawaiian fighter is making it to the UFC! Brandon Wolf is scheduled to fight a very well established Japanese fighter, Yoshida Yoshiyuki, at UFC 98 on May 23rd, 2009. Considering that Wolf has a 7-4 record compared to Yoshida's 10-3, I don't quite know if this is the best match up, but we'll see.

Yoshida has only fought in the UFC twice, winning against War Machine with surprising ease but getting KO'd against Josh Koscheck. Wolf has only fought in the UFC once, losing to Ben Saunders in the same event Yoshida suffered his loss, UFC - Fight for the troops.

Considering that both are coming back from losses that were less than spectacular performance-wise, this fight is probably a chance for one of them to shine again and prove he is worth keeping in the Octagon. The other....maybe not so much. Of course, if they both manage to put up a spectacular fight, they might both be able to stay in the UFC.

I'm rooting for both of them..although maybe slightly more for Yoshida. Let's wish both of them the best of luck!

I got the news from The Official MMA Agents Blog. The actual article can be found at MMAHawaii.com.

I miss you Serkan Yilmaz!!

Serkan Yilmaz is a Turkish fighter that used to fight several years ago... Unfortunately, due to severely biased decision losses to Japanese fighters forced him to quit K-1, never to return to the international stage. He was and still is one of my favorite fighters.

Another Old Classic: Choi VS Akebono

Fight Value 0, Entertainment Value 2.
